A Bit About Me

Hello,

My name is Monica Joe and I am a co-educator in the four year old Tawny Frogmouth group.

I have worked in Early Childhood Education for eight years now, in long day care centres, as well as Kindergartens. In between this, I also started my own family.

Children learn best when they are free to explore and investigate at their own pace, in both indoor and outdoor settings, enabling them to become hands-on participants in their learning. Therefore, I believe it is important in early education to allow children to become part of the teaching process, and initiate their own learning through their interests, skills and needs.
