Susie Marsden

Hello, 

My name is Susie and I am very excited to be a part of the team at Waverley Meadows Preschool in the 3YO Possum Group. 

 

I bring with me a passion for working collaboratively with children to develop a love of lifelong learning. I view children as capable, competent and curious and believe they learn best through play. As they actively explore, learning about the world around them, I enjoy engaging with them and supporting them, co-constructing knowledge and understandings. I love listening to children’s ever changing and unique perspectives as they grow and learn at this very important time of their lives; a time in which they will develop more than at any other stage of their education. A time in which lays the foundation for future learning. 

I look forward to working with the children each day, with an aim of making every day meaningful for all, cheerful, full of wonder and full of learning – I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to take on this challenge. 

 

I am a mum of two, (aged 5 and 1) and with one unit to go, I have nearly completed my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education which has revealed a deep passion for inclusion and early literacy.
