Our Journey Toward Reconciliation
At WMPS, we are deeply committed to fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and understanding. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) outlines our tangible steps toward building stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, embedding Indigenous perspectives into our curriculum, and nurturing a future of unity for our children and community.

Reconciliation Action Plan
Our journey towards reconciliation is built on respect, learning, and meaningful connection with the Boon wurrung people of the Kulin Nation.

Deep Respect
Upholding the history and culture of First Nations people through acknowledgment and respectful learning environments.

Continuous Learning
Integrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our curriculum, ensuring every child grows with an inclusive worldview.
Community Initiatives
Located at the entrance to our preschool, our Bush Tucker Garden is a shared community space celebrating Australia's native edible plants. As an action within our Reconciliation Action Plan, we are creating signage that highlights each plant, its traditional uses by First Nations Peoples, and its place in contemporary life.
