Sue Knowles

Educational Leader

4 Year Old Teacher

Sue is our Educational Leader and Teacher of the Four-Year-Old Kindergarten program, bringing many years of experience and a deep passion for early childhood education to Waverley Meadows Preschool. As our Educational Leader, she mentors and supports the teaching team while fostering a culture of reflective practice and continuous learning. Sue's teaching is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, and she has had the rare opportunity to study in Reggio Emilia, Italy, under the guidance of Carla Rinaldi. She is dedicated to creating rich, meaningful learning experiences that spark curiosity, challenge children's thinking and nurture a lifelong love of learning.

Sarah Stoddart

3 Year Old Teacher

Sarah is our Three-Year-Old Kindergarten Teacher, leading the Wilurrt group with a passion for creating engaging, play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity and confidence. Since joining Waverley Meadows Preschool in 2020 after completing her teaching placement at the service, Sarah has embraced the Reggio Emilia philosophy, believing every child is curious, resourceful and full of potential. As a mother of three and an active member of the preschool community, she values building strong partnerships with families and supporting each child as they begin their early learning journey.

Tracey Dring

M.A.G.I.C. Teacher

4YO Nature Kinder Educator

Tracey is a Teacher in our M.A.G.I.C. program, an additional educator in our Four-Year-Old Nature Kindergarten program, and also supports the kindergarten as a relief teacher. With over 16 years of experience in education, including a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ECE and Primary) and a Master of Education, Tracey brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for supporting young children to thrive. She believes the early years provide the foundation for lifelong learning and values strong partnerships between children, families and educators to create meaningful and enriching learning experiences.

Stephanie Urbancic

4YO Educator

3YO Nature Kinder Educator

Stephanie is an Educator in our Four-Year-Old Kindergarten and Three-Year-Old Nature Kindergarten programs. Since joining Waverley Meadows Preschool in 2024, she has brought extensive experience working with children and families through her background as a nanny and disability support worker. Stephanie is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships and creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child feels supported to learn, grow and thrive. She brings warmth, empathy and enthusiasm to the kindergarten community each day.

Nancy Bellistri

3YO Educator

Nancy is an Educator in our Three-Year-Old Wilurrt Group and has been a valued member of the Waverley Meadows Preschool team since 2023. She is passionate about creating a safe, caring and engaging environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging and is supported to grow in confidence, curiosity and independence. Nancy values building positive relationships with children and families and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education.

Kiah Reynolds

4YO Educator

M.A.G.I.C. Educator

Kiah is an Educator in our Four-Year-Old Djinith-Djinith Group and M.A.G.I.C. program. With many years of experience in Reggio Emilia–inspired early childhood settings and a background in Creative Arts, she is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that emerge from children's ideas and inquiries. Kiah has a particular interest in documentation, concept-based curriculum and the Hundred Languages of Children, and enjoys working collaboratively with children, families and colleagues to foster curiosity, creativity and a love of learning.

Nayla De Goldi

Auslan Language Teacher

Nayla is our Auslan Teacher, inspiring children in our Four-Year-Old Kindergarten program to explore language, communication and Deaf culture. While her role is funded through the Four-Year-Old Kindergarten program, Nayla shares her knowledge and experience across the entire preschool community, enriching learning opportunities for children of all ages. With over 15 years of experience in education, including extensive experience in Deaf education, she is passionate about fostering inclusion, empathy and an appreciation for the many ways people connect. Nayla delights in helping children discover the joy of communicating through Auslan while building understanding and respect for the diverse world around them.

Charlotte Hayes

3YO Educator

Charlotte is an Educator in our Three-Year-Old Kindergarten program, joining the Waverley Meadows Preschool team in 2026 after recently completing her Early Childhood Teaching degree. She brings fresh knowledge and enthusiasm from her studies to her role as an educator and is excited to continue learning alongside our experienced team. With a passion for nature and outdoor education, Charlotte enjoys supporting children's curiosity and discovery through our Nature Kindergarten program. She looks forward to building strong relationships with children and families and contributing to the warm, community-focused culture at Waverley Meadows Preschool.

Kelly McRae

Lunch cover Educator

Kelly is an Educator who works across our Three-Year-Old and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs. A long-standing member of the Waverley Meadows Preschool community, Kelly has been involved as a parent, Committee of Management volunteer, relief educator and now a valued permanent educator. With previous experience as an Early Childhood Centre Director, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to supporting children, families and the preschool community.
