“Although I have been a Kinder teacher for more than 25 years I still feel fortunate that I have the opportunity to work with children during their important, formative Kinder year.

My aims for the children include:

• that they are happy and have fun at Kinder
• that they develop feelings of security, confidence and independence
• that they develop a positive, realistic self image
• that they develop an enthusiasm for learning.

I believe that children at Kinder should have time to play, follow their interests, explore, manipulate equipment, learn from their mistakes, interact and express themselves artistically.

I believe that Kinder children should be exposed to a variety of experiences that challenge all their senses and facilitate their development across all areas.
