I have always enjoyed working with children and last year I was able to return to study, so that I could become more permanently involved in children's education.
I believe preschool gives children a great opportunity to develop and build on skills they will need for life. It offers them the chance to try new things and to explore activities that are more familiar. Through this, they build a better understanding of who they are. They develop confidence in themselves and gain independence. Children in the early years learn through play and preschool is a great place to play.
I believe parents and carers are a vital part of the preschool community and it is important for them to feel just as at ease in sharing ideas and experiences as they do in discussing any concerns.
There are so many things to learn in life, it can be quite daunting, but at preschool, it is fun. I love coming to preschool and I hope your children do too.
